Billeo Inks Deal With Debit Card Provider

Santa Clara-based Billeo, the provider of online bill payment services which is backed by ATA Ventures, Altos Ventures, Claremont Creek, and Pacifica Fund, said today that it is in an agreement with debit card provider NetSpend. According to the firms, Billeo will allow consumers to pay their bills using NetSpend, provide a free, downloadable toolbar for NetSpend cardholders to manage their bills, and also help Billeo users find billers who will accept NetSpend cards. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
