Good Technology Buys Mobile Social Networking Firm
Redwood City-based Good Technology announced today that it has acquired Intercasting, a developer of mobile social networking software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Good Technology, the buy will further expand its device portfolio and solutions. Intercasting developed software used to connect mobile users to social networking sites like MySpace and others; the firm was venture backed by Venrock, Avalon, and Masthead.
