Yahoo Snags Another VP From NetApp

Sunnyvale-based Yahoo! disclosed today that the firm has appointed Eric Channing Brown as the firm's Senior Vice President of Global Communications, overseeing the firm's public relations, product promotion, and other communications efforts. Brown joins the firm from NetApp, where he was VP of Corporate Relations; he also previously served at Adaptec. Yahoo said Brown will report to Elisa Steele, the firm's Chief Marketing Officer. Brown follows Steele from NetApp; Steele just joined Yahoo in March; she was SVP Corporate Marketing at NetApp before her current position.
