Sequans Hires VP

Cupertino-based WiMAX chipmaker Sequans Communications reported Tuesday that it has hired Craig Miller as vice president of marketing and business development. Sequans was vice president of product management and marketing at NextWave Wireless, and also served at Intel for 18 years. At Intel, Sequans said, Miller held various marketing and business development positions for several business units, including the computer chip manufacturer's Wireless Networking Group. Sequans is venture backed by Swisscom, Reliance Technology Ventures Limited, and CDC Enterprises.
