Yahoo Takes On Self-Serve Ads

Sunnyvale-based Yahoo said today that it has launched a new service for self-service display advertising, targeted at small and medium-sized businesses. According to the firm, the new Yahoo! My Display Ads will allow those businesses to place locally targeted display ads on Yahoo's sites and through its network of partner sites. Yahoo is tapping AdReady for the service.
