SolFocus Gains Funding From Private Equity Firm

Mountain View-based SolFocus has scored more funding, according to private equity firm Hawyood Dorland Energy Capital, LLC. According to Haywood, the investment round was made by the firm indirectly through Advanced Equities, Inc. Details of the funding were not disclosed. SolFocus is venture backed by new Enterprise Associates, NGEN Partners, and Yellowstone Capital. SolFocus is a developer of photovoltaic solar concentrators for the solar energy market.
