Aloqa Raises $1.5M
Palo Alto-based Aloqa, a developer of context-aware mobile applications for Android, said this morning it has raised $1.5M in a Series A funding round. Aloqua said the funding came from Wellington Partners as well as unnamed angels. The firm said its application helps recommend interesting local opportunities to users, and eliminates the need to type search terms into mobile browsers. The company also said it has appointed Sanjeev Agrawal, formerly of TellMe Networks and Google, as its CEO. More information »
