DeviceVM Links With Search Engine Partners

San Jose-based DeviceVM, a maker of software which offers an "instant" boot of computers without going through typical long boot sequences, said this morning that it has inked several strategic relationships with web search engine providers. The firm said that has linked with Yahoo in the United States, Baidu in China, and Yandex in Russia, where those providers will provide a branded search box within a second of a PC's power on. Financial details of the strategic relationships were not disclosed. DeviceVM said PCs including its instant on software will ship in September.
