Shasta Names StumbleUpon's Michael Buhr As EIR

Menlo Park-based venture capital firm Shasta Ventures reports today that it has added Michael Buhr as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the firm. According to Shasta, Buhr will evaluate prospective investments in the area of online discovery and mobile. Buhr was GM at StumbleUpon, and has also served as Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at eBay, in addition to holding positions at Palm, Lipstream Networks, Adobe Systems, 3DO, and Apple. He is also an advisor to GameLayers and Geodelic. Shasta has around $460 million dollars under management.
