Autodesk Buys Water Modeling Software

San Rafael-based Autodesk announced today that it has acquired assets from BOSS International, in the area of water resource analysis. Autodesk said it has acquired StormNET, used for stormwater management analysis; RiverCAD, for floodplain analysis; and WaterNET, for water distribution analysis. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The firm said it will integrate those packages with its AutoCAD Civil 3D and other tools.
