PinPointe USA Gets Funding

Chico-based PinPointe USA, a medical device firm developing a system for treating onchomycosis (fungal infections of toenails and fingernails), said this morning that it has received additional venture capital funding. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. PinPointe said the funding came from Western Technology Investment. The firm did not say if the funding consisted of equity or debt, although WTI typically provides venture debt to its companies. The firm said it is cash flow positive and profitable, and the investment will be for additional working capital and for investing in international business opportunities. More information »
