Omidyar Backs Anti-Corruption Nonprofit With $2.4M
The Omidyar Network has invested $2.4M in a grant to Global Integrity, a non-profit which tracks government corruption and governance, Global Integrity said Tuesday. Stacy Donohue, part of Omidyar Network, will join Global Integrity's board of directors as part of the investment. Global Integrity uses technology to support public interest research and policy reforms, allowing local citizens, researchers, and journalists to gather information about the accountability and transparency of both national and local governments.
