Pageonce Nabs $6.5M
Palo Alto-based Pageonce, a developer of mobile personal finance and travel applications, has raised $6.5M in a new round of venture funding, the firm said this morning. The round was led by Pitango Venture Capital. Eitan Bek of Pitango joins the firm's board along with the funding round. Pageonce develops applications for the iPhone, Blackberry, Android, and Windows smart phones, which allows users to access their bank accounts and travel itineraries. In addition to the funding, the firm said it has added Jim Scheinman, the first employee at Bebo, as Chief Operating Officer, and has also added Mark Goines, the former GM of Quicken/Intuit and board member at Mint, as an investor and advisor to the firm.
