Suvolta Scores $3M

Los Gatos-based Suvolta, a stealth-mode firm in the semiconductor space, has raised $3.0M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm Thursday. According to the filing, the firm's board includes Bill Joy of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Andy Rappaport of August Capital, Dave Orton of ATI, and Bruce McWilliams, formerly of Tessera Technologies.
