JAJAH Acquired For $207M
Telefonica, the European telecom provider behind the O2 mobile phone service, said Wednesday that it has acquired Mountain View-based JAJAH. The deal was worth $207 in cash, and is subject to clearance by Spanish authorities. JAJAH is a provider of voice-over-IP services, and also has offices in Israel. The firms said that Telefonica Europe was advised by KPMG in the deal, with JAJAH advised by CFP Corporate Finance Partners; Deutsche Bank advised in closing procedures.
