Encoding.com Gets $1.25M

San Francisco-based Encoding.com, a provider of online video encoding services, said today that it has raised $1.25M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Metamorphic Ventures, and also included angels Patrick Condon, Fred Hamilton, Zelkova Ventures, Dave Morgan, and Allen Morgan. According to Encoding.com, Marc Michel of Metapmorphic Ventures also joins its board along with the funding. Encoding.com provides an online, software-as-a-service product to help web developers encode their online videos. More information »
