One Block Off The Grid Gets $5M

San Francisco-based One Block Off The Grid (1BOG), a group buying service for solar power, said Thursday that it has raised $5M in a Series A funding. The round came from New Enterprise Associates. 1BOG helps homeowners team together for group buying discounts when installing photovoltaic power. 1BOG said the financing will go towards national expansion. The company said it has helped install around 600 residential solar electric systems to date. More information »
