Wordpress.com Goes Down

Wordpress.com, the blog hosting service of blog software developer Automattic, is apparently down, according to the firm's status stream on Twitter. No details on the loss of service, or expected restore time, were given. Wordpress.com offers outsourced hosting and management of blog sites.
