Cloudmark Takes $23M
San Francisco-based Cloudmark, a developer of messaging security software, said today that it has raised $23M in a new round of funding. The firm said the funding, which it characterized as growth equity, came from Summit Partners and Nokia Growth Partners, along with existing investors Ignition Partners and Industry Ventures. Cloudmark said the funding will go to assist in the acquisition of Bizanga Ltd. The round is the first funding round the company has raised since 2004. Cloudmark develops spam filtering, phishing, and virus protection software. More information »
