Scientific Conservation Gets $5M
Berkeley-based Scientific Conservation Inc., a developer of energy efficiency and commercial building energy optimization systems, said today that it has raised $5M in a new funding round. The round was led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. As part of the funding, the firm said it has appointed Russ McMeekin as CEO. McMeekin has served as President, CEO, and on the board of Progressive Gaming International, served as President and CEO of ViaFone, as well as having prior stints at Honeywell. Scientific Conservation also has operations in Atlanta. Raj Atluru and Joshua Raffaelli at DFJ were both involved in the investment. More information »
