Wildfire Raises $4.04M

Palo Alto-based Wildfire Interactive, a developer of social media marketing software, said Monday that it has raised $4.04M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Summit Partners, and also included angels Jeff Clavier, Aydin Senkut and Gary Vaynerchuk. Wildfire said it will use the funding for growth initiatives and continued development of its produts. Wildfire's social media software is targeted at helping small businesses build a following on social networking sites, via sweepstakes, coupons, quizzes, and other campaigns. More information »
