Zeltiq Raises $25M In Series D

Pleasanton-based Zeltiq, a firm developing medical devices for fat reduction, announced yesterday that it has raised $25M in a Series D funding round. The round was led by Aisling Capital, and also included its prior investors Advanced Technology Ventures, Frazier Healthcare Ventures, and Venrock. The firm said the new funding brings its total raised to $50M. Andrew Schiff of Aisling joins the firm's board as part of the funding. More information »
