Appcelerator Raises $2.0M

Mountain View-based Appcelerator, which creates cross platform software development tools for building desktop and mobile applications, has raised $2.0M in a new funding round, according to a recent regulatory filing by the firm. Source of the funding was not disclosed, however, the firm has previously raised funds from Storm Ventures and angel investor Larry Augustin. Appcelerator was co-founded by Jeff Haynie and Nolan Wright. Appcelerator's software allows users to develop native iPhone, iPad, Android, and desktop applications. More information »
