shopkick Picks Up $15M

Palo Alto-based shopkick, a developer of location-based mobile applications for physical retailers, said Wednesday evening that it has raised $15M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Greylock Partners, and partner Reid Hoffman, and also included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Citi Growth Ventures & Innovation Group, and SV Angel, Ron Conway's angel investment firm. As part of the funding, Hoffman joins the company's board. Hoffman was previously an individual investor in the firm.
