Klout Aims At $2.0M

San Francisco-based Klout, a firm which operates an online service which measures social media influence, appears to be in the midst of expanding its Series A funding to $2.0M. According to a regulatory filing, the firm is in the midst of raising up to $1,999,999 in its existing round. The firm already announced $1.5M in funding in April in the round. Klout's backers are ff Asset Management, Allen Morgan, and Nova Spivack. The firm recently landed a deal to promote Virgin America's new Toronto route from San Francisco and Los Angeles.
