CloudCrowd Gathers $5.1M
San Francisco-based CloudCrowd, a provider of an online crowdsourcing service which uses its technology to tap the resources of Internet users to accomplish tasks, said today that it has raised $5.1M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. According to CloudCrowd, it will use the new funding to expand the services and features of its platform. CloudCrowd develops a system which distributes tasks to more than 35,000 registered users on the site. The firm was launched in 2009, and is headed by Alex Edelstein. More information »
