Federated Media Buys TextDigger

Sausalito-based Federated Media, the online advertising firm headed by John Batelle, said today that it has acquired TextDigger, a developer of semantic search software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Morgan Hill-based TextDigger had raised funding from CBS, CNET, Intel Capital, and True Ventures.
