Nimbula Nabs $15M

Menlo Park-based Nimbula, a developer of cloud computing operating systems, has raised another $15M in funding, according to the company. Nimbula said the new round was led by Accel Partners, and also included prior investors Sequoia Capital. As part of the second round, Nimbula said Ping Li of Accel is joining the company's board of directors. Nimbula's founders are Chris Pinkham and Willem van Biljon, who the firm says were behind Amazon's EC2 public cloud service. The firm has also previously scored funding from VMware. More information »
