Solaria Brings Series D To $65M
Fremont-based Solaria, a manufacturer of photovoltaic modules for the solar power industry, said Wednesday that it has upped funding in its Series D round to $65M. The firm said the additional funding came from Adams Street Partners, Cycad Group, and Western Technologies. The firm had earlier received funding from CMEA Capital, DBL Investors, Sigma Partners, NGEN Partners, Mitsui Ventures and Savitr Capital, as well as enXco. Solaria said the new funding will go towards increasing availability of the firm's solar modules. The Series D round had an earlier close in May, when it announced an initial $54M in the funding.
