Grid2Home Gets Seeded
Grid2Home, a developer of energy management software whose founders are in Campbell, California, said Wednesday that it has raised a seed round of funding. The funding came from Granite Ventures. No details on the size of that funding was given. The firm said it is now headquartered in San Diego, after it hired Rick Kornfeld as its President and CEO. Grid2Home was founded by Don Sturek and Mike Bourton, and develops communications software used for communicating with smart meters, appliances, and electric vehicles across wired, wireless, and power line communications protocols.
