Google Wins Virgin America

Mountain View-based Google said Tuesday that Virgin America is the latest firm to move its corporate email over to Gmail, Google's email system. According to Google, the move will cut Virgin America's email system costs by about half based on an annual basis; financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Virgin America has about 1,700 employees who will be using Gmail.
