Talend Buys Sopera, Gets $34M In financing
Los Altos-based Talend, a developer of open source data management software, said today that it has acquired Sopera, a developer of open source SOA and middleware products. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed, however, the firm said it has also raised $34M in a financing round in conjunction with the buy. The financing was led by Silver Lake Sumeru, and included prior investors Balderton Capital and IDInvest Partners (formerly AGF Private Equity). Sopera will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Talend, as the firm's application integration division. More information »
