Salesforce.com Completes Heroku Buy

San Francisco-based Salesforce.com said this week that it has completed its acquisition of Heroku. Salesforce.com had announced the deal in December, saying it would pay $212M in cash for the company. Heroku was backed by Baseline Ventures, Harrison Metal Capital, Ignition Partners, and Redpoint Ventures. Heroku is a maker of cloud-based software for developing Ruby applications.
