Storenvy Gets $1.5M
San Francisco-based Storenvy, which develops e-commerce software for independent brands, said Thursday that it has raised $1.5M in a funding round. The round was led by Spark Capital and First Round Capital, and also included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Charles River Ventures, as well as angels David Cohen (TechStars), John Maloney (Tumblr), David Cancel (Performable), as well as David Hauser and Siamak Taghaddos (Grasshopper). Storenvy is headed by Jon Crawford. The firm's e-commerce software ties into Facebook and Twitter, and is aimed at letting anyone sell products from those platforms. More information »
