Google Adds Check-Ins

Looking to take advantage of the popularity of "Check-in" features with services such as Facebook, Foursquare, and Gowalla, Google said Tuesday that it has added new Check-in capability via its Google Latitude application. The firm said the check-in capability starts today with Google Maps 5.1 for Android.
