Sequent Software Secures Funding

Redwood City-based Sequent Software, a developer of near field communications (NFC) software and other products, said this morning that it has raised a Series A funding round. Size of that round was not disclosed. The round was led by Opus Capital and SK Telecom Ventures. As part of the funding, the Opus Capital's Bob Borhers and SK Telecom's Rob Trice are joining the board. Sequent was previously known as Sparq Mobile Solutions. More information »
