nPario Gets $6.0M From WPP
Palo Alto-based nPario, a firm developing data mining software, has raised $6.0M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. The funding came from WPP, as part of a strategic investment in the firm that was announced last week. nPario's CEO is Bassel Ojjeh, formerly the founder of DMX Group, a business intelligence and data mining company acquired by Yahoo. Ojjieh also served as COO at digiMine (now Audience Science), nPario had announced the investment and link with WPP on May 17th, but did not disclose financial details of the investment.
