ROBLOX Gets $4M

San Francisco-based ROBLOX, the developer of a kids gaming site, said Tuesday that it has raised $4M in a venture funding round. The round came from ALTOS Ventures and First Round Capital. ROBLOX is a physics-and-software based, massively multi-player 3D world, which offesr subscriptions, virtual items, advertising, and pre-paid cards at retail outlets. The firm said it has over 5.7 million unique visitors per month.
