MOBIbucks Nabs $5M

MOBIbucks, a developer of cardless, mobile payment systems which has its research and development operations in Silicon Valley, said this week that it has raised $5M in a Series A funding. The financing came from Cadia Woods Partners, as well as prior angel investors. The firm said the new funding will go towards growth in key markets. The firm is based in Louisville, Kentucky.
