Adobe, EchoSign Sued By RPost

Adobe and EchoSign, the electronic signature firm acquired yesterday by Adobe, have been sued by an electronic signature competitor, RPost, just a day after the news of the acquisition was announced. RPost, which is based in Los Angeles, said that EchoSign has infringed on five of its U.S. patents, and is seeking an injunction against Adobe to prevent further damage. RPost said its patents date back as far as 1995.
