eCullet Nabs $38M

Palo Alto-based eCullet, a firm which helps to recycle glass, said Tuesday that it has raiesd $38M in new funding. The firm said the round was led by DB Masdar Clean Tech Fund, as well as Angeleno Group. eCullet develops technology which helps processing of recycled glass into color-sorted, contaminent-free glass cullet, used in the glass container manufacturing industry. The firm said the funding will go towards expanding its footprint in the recycling industry. eCullet was advised by GCA Savvian in the deal.
