Polycom Acquires ViVu

Pleasanton-based Polycom said this morning that it has acquired ViVu, the provider of streaming video collaboration software aimed at web applications. Financial terms of the cash deal were not announced. Vivu's software makes it easy for web application developers to embed video collaboration features into their software. ViVu was venture backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Inventus Capital Partners, Quest Ventures, Bill Carrico, among others.
