Palihapitiya Backs Second Market

Former Facebook executive Chamath Palihapitiya has made a $15M investment in secondary market opertor Second Market, via his investment firm, Social+Capital Partnership. Second Market said that the $15M, Series C financing also adds Palihapitiya to its board of directors. Second Market operates an online marketplace which allows qualified investors to buy and sell stock in privately held, venture backed companies. More information »
