Mingly Raises $500K
San Francisco-based Mingly, a new startup which developers software which connects Gmail with social networks, has raised $500,000 in a seed funding round, the firm said today. The company, headed by Tyler Koblasa, said the funding came from Idealab, Allen Morgan, Alex Karelin and other angel investors. Mingly's software works with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, and merges Gmail with social network contacts, provides a snapshot of recent updates from contacts, as well as handles reminders for followups with contacts.
