SuccessFactors Acquired By SAP For $3.4 Billion

San Mateo-based SuccessFactors, the developer of human resources software, is being acquired by SAP AG in a deal worth approximately $3.4 billion, the firms said over the weekend. SAP said it will pay $40.00 per share in cash to acquire SuccessFactors. The two said the deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2012. SuccessFactors have over 1,450 employees, and 15 million subscription seats to its product.
