Xeround Looks Up $9M

Mountain View-based Xeround, a provider of cloud-based, database instances, said today that it has raised $9M in a Series C round. The round came from current investors, including Benchmark Capital, Giza Venture Capital, Ignition Partners and Trilogy Partnership. Xeround offers upa MySQL-based, cloud database service which helps handle high availability and data synchronization for developers of web applications, eliminating the need for customers to maintain their own databases. The firm is led by Razi Sharir. Xeround also has operations in Israel. More information »
