GreenVolts Gets $35M

Fremont-based GreenVolts, the developer of concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) sytsems, has raised $35M in funding round, according to strategic investors ABB. ABB said it invested $20M as part of a new, $35M funding for Greenvolts, giving it a "substantial" minority stake in the company. GreenVolts ie haded by David Gudmundson, and develops concentrating solar power systems being used in power plants. More information »
