Tactus Technology Gets $6M For Touch Interfaces
Fremont-based Tactus Technology, a developer of tactile user interface components, announced this morning that it has raised $6M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Thomvest Ventures. According to Tactus Technology, the funding will go towards product development and ramping up of operations. Tactus develops technology which enables real, physical buttons to "rise up" from a tactile screen, providing tactile feedback to touchscreen users. The company is led by Craig Ciesla.
