UrbanSitter Confirms $1.75M Fundraising

San Francisco-based UrbanSitter, which operates an online service to help connect parents to babysitters via people they know on Facebook, has raised $1.75M in funding, the firm confirmed today. The round was led by First Round Capital, and also included Rustic Canyon Partners, Menlo Ventures, and angels. The funding had been uncovered by regulatory filings last week. UrbanSitter has been available in San Francisco since September of 2011. More information »
