Skytree Gets Backing For Big Data Analytics
San Jose-based Skytree, a developer of big data analytics and machine learning software, said today that it has launched its product and company, with the backing of a number of venture investor Javelin Venture Partners. Financial details of the funding were not announced. Noah Doyle of Javelin joins the company's board as part of the funding. Skytree said it has released Skytree Server, an analytics processing engine specifically aimed at big data, including product recommendations systems, predictive analytics, market segmenting, and other projects.
